Just got back from Woodside park, the home of Bishop's Stortford Football Club, where WHUFC play their home reserve league fixtueres. Todays game saw Chelsea come to town. Big name players in either team were
Chelsea:
Hilario
Ferriera
Football Icon guy
Sahar
West Ham:
Walker
Collins
Pantsil
Cole
Dailly
As you can see West Ham had quite a strong side out. However Chelsea included two players that have played at the Nou Camp. Slightly different conditions for them here. The game finished 0-0, which in reality was not a true reflection on the game. Chelsea did not have a clear cut chance for the whole 90 minutes and were the inferior team. Before this game West Ham only had 2 points out of a possible 33 so as you can see the reserve team aren't any better than the first team. However this was a game they should have won. Carlton Cole ran the show with James Collins and both looked a class apart from the rest of the players. Collins missed a free header from 8 yards and One of the WH players vollied over from 6 yeards,. In the second half, Cole's replacement was through one on one but shot tamely at Hilario. They should have got the 3 points instead of one, but in the end Chelsea did enough to get the draw. I, being the true yid I am, wore my Spurs shirt and wound up both sets of fans. It was so easy, double over the Hammers, and played 2, won 1, drawn 1 against the Chavs. Glad I went really, was an entertaining way to amuse myself on a tuesday night. Tommorrow will be better when the Mighty Lilywhites knock "The Arsenalites" out the Uefa cup. Another failure for the Goons .
